Turning one is a big deal, especially for parents! Little M’s cake smash was so much fun, and what made it even more special was that her talented mom made the cake herself! It was perfect for the occasion and looked amazing. I think she may have missed her calling.

Welcome to my new blogsite! It’s been some time coming, and a heck of a lot of work, but I’m so happy to finally launch it.
For those of you who have followed me since the beginning, you’ve no doubt noticed the evolution of the Brightside brand and logo. I have to admit, my graphic design background is often a hindrance to any personal projects. I’m very rarely happy with anything I do for myself, and I drove my wife Stacey crazy showing her multiple versions I had come up with. Deciding on a final logo was a big challenge! I wanted Brightside’s logo to be clean, clear and timeless, but also bright and cheerful. To me, it finally feels right.
The new site is now easier to navigate and is mobile friendly for those of you who want to browse on the go. I have also included some helpful tips on what to wear to your photo sessions, and a more detailed description of what to expect when you book a session with me!
I hope you enjoy the new look. Stay a while, browse through the galleries and feel free to leave your comments below. I would love to hear some feedback.
I did my first cake smash session last week with this little cutie. What a blast! The cake really didn’t stand a chance and I’m pretty sure an afternoon nap was not in the cards after the sugar rush (sorry Mom and Dad!).
I should have a full blog post up soon but I felt this photo was appropriate for the first new blog post on the new site.
